Hello friends! Thank you for checking out this site. I started it because I’ve somewhat recently been bitten by the travel bug and this seems like a fun way to document and memorialize my travels. I hope some of my fellow travelers find it interesting or perhaps even a little helpful!
Just for fun, here are ten random facts about me:
- I spent my honeymoon exploring Japan for 18 days! We traveled through Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nagoya, and more. I ate amazing food, visited temples, rode roller coasters, shopped, and squeezed in as many experiences as I possibly could.
- I’ve been to many concerts! I’ve seen Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, BINI, Kesha, Phoebe Bridgers, Olivia Dean, Melanie Martinez, Owl City, and a handful of K-pop groups.
- I’m a roller coaster enthusiast and I’ve ridden on close to 50 unique coasters! My favorites are Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT, Velocicoaster at Universal Islands of Adventure, and Mako at SeaWorld Orlando.
- My husband proposed to me at Disney World. Specifically, right before we boarded Guardians of the Galaxy. It was perfect in every way and I can’t believe it happened to me.
- I collect American Girl dolls as an adult. They have better clothes than I do!
- I’m a first generation college graduate. I studied Political Science, Anthropology, and Women’s and Gender Studies. My favorite is Anthropology, which probably explains why I love traveling and learning about the culture of every new place I visit!
- I will absolutely travel for food. Omakase in Tokyo, beignets in New Orleans, dumplings basically anywhere… food is one of my favorite ways to experience a culture and a new destination!
- I have three cats. They’re spoiled and very deeply loved. And they’re uninterested in contributing financially to the household.
- I am a huge Swiftie, and my favorite Taylor Swift album is folklore.
- I believe you don’t have to quit being enthusiastic about things when you grow up. I’m in my 30s and I get ridiculously excited about K-pop, theme parks, cute characters, dolls, traveling, and trying new things. Life is more fun when you let yourself love things!
